Mobile-focused lottery betting operator Lottomart is now licensed for casino gaming and betting in Gibraltar, where the company is based.
Lottomart was established in 2017 by experienced igaming entrepreneur Ashley Lang with a team of founding investors and executives
Over the course of the last 18 months, the company has developed a proprietary technology platform and client-facing applications, and last year obtained licences from the UK Gambling Commission.
Andrew Lyman, Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner, said: “The licensing process in Gibraltar is challenging as our standards and requirements of companies that wish to establish here is demanding in order to ensure the ongoing credibility of the jurisdiction and the protection of the customer.
“The team at Lottomart have demonstrated a clear understanding of their obligations and underpinned this with good process; supported by effective regulatory technology.”
Lottomart CEO, Ashley Lang said: “We are committed to providing our customers with a fun, safe and trustworthy online environment to enjoy gaming as entertainment.”
With reference to Isolas, the local gaming law experts who advised Lottomart during the licensing process, Lang (pictured, right) added: “Isolas are truly the experts in gaming in Gibraltar.
“The qualification criteria to obtain a licence in Gibraltar is high and Isolas helped us demonstrate how we meet these standards and to succeed with our application”.
